Dear Members,

The proposed Yemen trip which was expected to take place from 18-24 March now has been postponed until 8 April.  The Yemeni Ministry of Information felt that our agenda including visits to an anti-terrorism training camp and Internally Displaced Person camp north of Sana'a could best be fulfilled by delaying our arrival until early April.

For all of those still interested please send an e-mail to the FPA office with the following information so we can be prepared for the visa process when the Yemeni authorities give us final approval for the trip.

====================

Dear Mike, dear board colleagues, dear interested colleagues,

I just received the folllowing news from the Yemeni minister of information:

The FPA Yemen trip should start on Thursday, 8th of April 010. Compelling reasons.

The proposed and accepted program remains unchanged. An addition would be a visit of the training grounds of special forces units.

We shall meet with the ministers of foreign affairs, interior, economy and information. At this point however, it is not yet possible to fix the exact data of the ministerial meetings, Visits of Hudaida and Aden are secured and will be arranged in the framework of our meetings.

A special  audience by president Ali Abdullah Saleh is not to be excluded

The hotel arrangements and airline bookings will be done as soon as the exact number of participants is known, the same applies to the hotel and airline fares.

Best regards,
