FPA Visit to Aswan

13-16 December 2009

Our Aswan visit project takes shape: On request of the governor our visit should take place from December 13th to December 16th - meaning three nights.

We are going to stay at Basma hotel for an extremely reasonable price: LE 700,- per person for three nights on half board basis, on top of this the owner honors us with a wonderful gratis lunch on the famous Basma Island on the Nile.

The governor of Aswan expects us after arrival and check-in in his office. A discussion and general explanation will be followed by a visit of the city highlights, including the High dam and the "Africa railway station". A visit of the iron ore plant and a bus ride to Toshka is included. The

exact timing will be communicated later.

A visit of Abu Simbel can be done, however the air fare should be paid for by the participant. The same goes with the air fare from Cairo to Aswan and return. Our office tries to get a reduction.

NB:       We need quickly the names of the participants and their media.

Also to send via mail a copy of your passport and accomodiation in order to get the Egyptian rates

الزملاء الآعزاء

حسب قرارات مجلس الآدارة المتخذة سابقا سنتمكن من تنظيم زيارة صحفية الى محافظة أسوان فى الفترة من 13 الى 16 ديسمبر لعام 2009  لمدة ثلاث ليال، أربعة أيام، ستكون الآقامة بفندف بسمة أسوان بسعر خاص جدا بأجمالى 700 جنيه للفرد ، نصف أقامة ( أفطار وعشاء) علاوة على ذلك وتكريما لوفد المراسلين الآجانب ستم أستضافة الوفد من قبل مالك الفندق بأقامة دعوة للغذاء فى الهواء الطلق بجزيرة بسمة بأسان على النيل مباشرة

سيتم أستقبال الوفد من قبل محافظ أسوان بعد الوصول والتسجيل بالفندق وبها مناقشة مفتوحة وتعريفية بالمحافظة والمشاريع الجديدة وبعض الآحصائيات ثم زيارة لآهم معالم المدينة ، تتضمن الزيارة أيضا السد العالى، محطة سكك حديد أفريقيا، مناجم الحديد وسيتم تخصيص أتوبيس لزيارة الى منطقة توشكى لمن يرغب فى الزيارة، سيتم تحديد جدول المواعيد لاحقا، فى حال سماح التوقيتات وأتساعها سيتم تنظيم زيارة الى أبو سمبل، الآعضاء المشاركون بالزيارة سيتحملون تكلفة الآقامة والطيران والتى سنتمكن من أبلاغكم بها لاحقا بعد محاولات الحصول على الخصم المقرر
