The Swedish Institute,
Alexandria and The Kvinna till Kvinna Foundation organize a seminar to
provide space for women politicians and activists from women’s
organizations for discussions on the needs and interests of women in
politics but also on a content of women’s politics that would explore
the meaning of politics from gender equality perspective; that is
articulating women’s interests and needs from institutional political
functioning and creating alternatives based on women’s human rights.
The objectives of the
seminar
1. To provide safe space
for empowerment discussions on the opportunities and obstacles for women
in politics through exchange of experiences and knowledge regionally and
internationally.
2. To visualizing
strategies for strengthening of women’s capacities and self confidence
to be candidates in the up coming parliamentary and local elections in
the region.
3. To strengthening the
cooperation between female politicians on both local and national level
and women’s rights activists from the civil society: encouraging
mutual support and action.

الشرق الأوسط – الطرق المختلفة لمشاركة المرأة و أهمية تواجدها فى السياسة
والمجتمع المدنى - المعاهدات الدولية و القوانين المختلفة الخاصة بحقوق

يشارك فى الندوة ممثلين عن
المرأة من الدول : مصر ، لبنان ، الأردن ، سوريا ، العراق ، فلسطين ،
جورجيا ، كرواتيا و السويد ، الى جانب الاتحاد الأوروبى و عدد من

تهدف الندوة الى مناقشة
العديد من المواضيع الخاصة بالمرأة و مشاركتها السياسية من خلال تبادل
التجارب و الخبرات و المعلومات المحلية و الدولية ، و لتكوين رؤية
استراتيجية لتواجد المرأة و فعاليتها فى السياسة و تأهيلها
لعضوية المجالس الشعبية و المحلية ، أيضا للتأكيد على ضرورة التعاون حول
دور المرأة السياسى على الصعيدين المحلى و الدولى و لتفعيل ودعم حقوق
المرأة فى المجتمع 0
هذا و سوف تخصص الجلسة
